Central Institute for Experimental Animals
The Central Institute for Experimental Animals (CIEA) is a non-profit organization established in 1952 with the aim of contributing to medicine and medical science through basic animal experiments. CIEA has a high reputation for its technology in the development, commercialization, and support of the world's most advanced experimental animals, as well as its aseptic animal-related technologies, monitoring tests, pathological examinations, genetic modification, developmental engineering, and image analysis. CIEA also collaborates with universities, research institutions, WHO, NIH, FDA, NIBSC, and other public institutions around the world, as well as companies.
CLEA Japan was established in 1965 as a joint venture between CIEA and 18 pharmaceutical companies to handle high-quality experimental animals and experimental animal diet, and equipment for laboratory animals.

NSI is the exclusive distributor of M-CLEA Bioresource Co., Ltd., (MCBC) which breeds high-quality laboratory mice and rats in Thailand. NSI also provide a wide range of related products and services, including equipment, diets, bedding, consulting services, and designing facilities for laboratory animals.
In addition to the business activities, NSI is committed to enhancing interest in animal welfare and improving the use of laboratory animals in Asian countries.
